Creative director and feature film marketing specialist, Jake York, inquired for a complete website redesign for his company, Lost Films – a boutique motion picture advertising agency in Los Angeles, California.

Jake invisioned an interactive and dynamic website to showcase his company’s film trailers and print posters directly on the site.

To bring this vision to life, Mackenzie collaborated with Planted Sky Web Agency to curate a custom-coded site to display the motion picture trailers in modal pop-ups right from the home page. The print posters are intentionally laid out in a masonry grid. To add dynamic changes throughout the user experience, Mackenzie added special effects triggered by mouse hovers, such as the trailer cover photos revealing their color and the print posters increasing in size.
