San Luis Obispo-based architecture firm, Ten Over Studios, inquired for design assistance in updating their portfolio pieces to showcase their array of work. The client had a design concept in mind which would consist of a photo board of project photography along with lifestyle images to pair with the mood of each project. This would be alongside a clear write up about each piece, providing details to describe their creative process.

We worked directly with Ten Over’s Creative Director, Mathieu Anfosso, to design the layout for each unique portfolio piece. We were given creative freedom to choose project photos that best told the story of each architectural piece along with lifestyle textures or images that aligned best with each design. For the lifestyle imagery, we carefully selected textures and images we felt best matched the mood, environment and feeling of each architectural structure.

We used Adobe InDesign to design the layout of each portfolio piece. We placed project imagery into a photo board on the left-hand side of each landscape-style layout. The written copy was aligned to the right of the photo board to describe the designer’s creative process and provide important project details.
